Coma Story

The family isn't seeking publicity and wishes that some details be left out until their soldier has recovered more fully, so out of respect, we are honoring their wishes. In March, 2006, Sharon received a call out of the blue from a woman in Canada. She didn’t usually watch psychic programs, but Sharon’s Court TV feature happened to be on when she was walking by the set, and something made her stop to pay attention. Her family was desperate, so she called a psychic for the first time. Could she please help her cousin who was in a coma? Their soldier, home from Afghanistan had suffered a severe brain injury in a suicide bombing. The doctors gave no hope and were about ready to take him off life support. They had never seen someone with that serious a brain injury recover. Sharon had been a medium many times very successfully with deceased loved ones, never for a person in a coma before. Let alone long distance by phone to a foreign country. She agreed to try.

Sharon was on the phone with the woman and tuned in to the young man’s spirit. She said, “He is telling me he is still in the process of deciding whether to go or stay and could his family please give him some time to make up his mind? Don't pull the plug yet! But he doesn't want to stay if he's going to be a vegetable." Sharon said, he is saying, "Tell them not to worry, I’m not in pain because I’m not in my body. I’m with them when they are at home.” She told the cousin what he could see them doing. At first, they found it hard to believe. Then, when Sharon told her cousin, "There is a round metal object he is very concerned about having with him, but doesn't..." His cousin said "That's his medal! He always kept it with him." It was later found and brought to him. The cousin told his mother about Sharon's incredible readings and gifts to the family without payment. Sharon talked to the mother and told her "He keeps showing me red gerber daisies! He loves those red flowers for him." The mom said, "No, there aren't any. Only yellow ones beside his bed." Then when she was out in the hallway, she spotted red gerber daisies at the nurses' station, addressed to him. His spirit had to have been out there to have seen them! The family was incredibly comforted. In a few days, Sharon received the message, “Tell them I’ll be waking up in 7-9 days.” To the absolute incredulity of the doctors, he woke up in 9 days! In a few more days, he was walking with assistance and beginning to communicate. They are calling it a miracle! Now, he has regained all of his functions, except for memory. Some of that is coming back, but not the bombing, and he doesn't remember communicating with Sharon. But his cousin and mother verified what his messages to them through her were true. It looks as if he will be leading a normal life! The family is so thankful to Sharon and her abilities that allowed them to have insights into the mind of their beloved while he was in the coma, giving them hope. They were so glad they never gave up on him and did not take him off life-support.
